This wooded, 6-acre retreat features a spacious home with 5 bedrooms, and 3.5 bathrooms that can host up to 15 guests. Our rural location provides a scenic setting tucked away from the noise of everyday life. Bear Cove Escape is just 2 minutes off Interstate 90, 6 minutes from the Wisconsin River boat dock, 20 minutes to Castle Rock Lake, 25 minutes from Cascade Mountain, and 10 minutes away from the waterpark capital of the world, the Wisconsin Dells. In addition, while in the Dells, guests can enjoy shopping at the outlet mall, a variety of local shops, restaurants, theme parks, and several family fun and nature centers. ​This rural location with limited neighbors offers a peaceful reprieve from the busy day-to-day, however, minutes away in the small downtown area, guests can enjoy the conveniences of several choices of restaurants, several drinking establishments, a gas station, and a general store.
Outside, enjoy acres of wooded space, a large deck & front porch, grill, fire pit, trails & plenty of room to stretch. There's also room to park almost any recreational vehicle & any seasonal toys you choose to bring with you on your adventure! Inside the home, cozy up by the indoor fireplace or watch a movie in the living room to settle down after an adventurous day. Or, if playing games is your thing, have a blast playing your choice of foosball, pool, air hockey, ping pong, darts, or PS4 downstairs in the gaming area. A full kitchen stocked with your basic cooking needs makes snack time & meal time a breeze. This home offers something for everyone!
Sleeping accommodations include 11 beds: 5 twin beds (two trundles and one full/twin bunk bed), 1 full bed (part of bunk beds), a queen sleeper couch, 1 queen bed, and 3 king beds. There are also 5 recliners. The master suite features one of the king beds and a full bathroom with a tub/shower and double sinks. There is a half bath on the main level, a full bathroom upstairs with a tub/shower, and a full bathroom with a stand-up shower in the basement.
There is a fully equipped kitchen including pots and pans, dishes, a Keurig coffee machine (BOY K-cups), a toaster, a teapot and tea, a small selection of spices, and more. There are two living rooms. One has a sleeper sofa, and a Blu-ray DVD player with tons of movies, the other has an indoor gas fireplace.
There is an outdoor campfire area (please bring your own firewood) with a total of 15 chairs, a charcoal grill (please bring your own charcoal & lighter fluid) and a gas grill with propane included, a Roku TV in each bedroom, and a common living area with streaming services available using the guests' accounts, a pool table, a foosball table, an air hockey table, a dart board, a ping pong table, craft/toy/board game area, a small library, working desk area, a video gaming area with PS4 council and games, a beautiful porch with wicker chairs and swing, back deck with patio table, chairs, and umbrella, plenty of space to park passenger vehicles, trailers, campers, lake and land toys or RV’s and outdoor trails to explore (6 parking spaces available).
Guests will be sent a code 24 hours before your stay. This will allow entrance through the automated lock on the front door. Bonus, Guests will have access to 2 of the attached garages to use during the stay.

This property is located on a secluded, wooded property. There is wildlife including bats, deer, and other animals.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting 'Yes' to pets. This fee is $98 for the stay. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The $98 pet fee will apply for each additional approved dog.
Parking notes: There is free parking for 10 vehicles.
**Important:** We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our verification process. Before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details with our third-party partner, Superhog, to complete your booking including your photo ID and a Selfie. We require the purchase of a damage waiver for a small fee of $35. The damage waiver protects you and your party from accidental damage during your stay. The charges for the damage waiver will show up from Great Britain and may have a small international processing fee. We always keep our guests' costs in mind, which is why we have selected this waiver and verification process. This waiver is much less expensive than any other available waiver.
We recommend completing the ID verification process and paying for the waiver at least 72 hours before check-in to avoid any check-in delays.
The following list will cause immediate eviction from the property and termination of the booking without a refund. Guest agrees to pay a $500 surcharge for every violation of the house rules:
1. Tampering with any security devices
2. Ignoring quiet hours
3. Ignoring the maximum property guest count
4. Having a party
5. Having illegal substances or underage drinking
Additional House Rules:
+ Fire pit: Be VERY careful to keep the fire contained inside the fire pit. No Large fires and please do not have a fire on a windy day. Guests must clean up the fire pit area after use.
+ Parking: There is plenty of parking for your vehicles in the main driveway. If additional parking is needed you can park past the main driveway towards the back detached garage. No more than 6 vehicles are permitted to be parked on the premises.
+ If you are staying at the house on Tuesday night, please roll the garbage cans to the street curb. If garbage cans are at the curb upon check-in, please bring them into the garage.
+ Early check-ins are not allowed unless prior approval is given. However, there is space in the garage to store your luggage before your check-in time.
+ If you use either the gas or charcoal grill, please clean it.
